Best Practices for This Setup
- Always Use a Soft Interface Pad: Since these are 75mm mini discs, pairing them with a soft interface pad protects you from oversanding or burning through clear coat on tight body lines and curves.
- Dry Sanding Advantage: Kovax Assilex is engineered to be used dry. Clean the pad frequently with a microfibre cloth or light air blast to prevent dust balls from creating tracer scratches.
Progress Gradually: Never skip more than one grit step at a time. Skipping directly from K-800 to K-2000 will trap deep scratches beneath a false polish.
